Common practices include dying, chemically altering (usually by injecting plastic polymers), exposing to radiation (to change color), and using other toxic treatments to alter real stones like marble, serpentine, or aventurine to replicate Jade.
As you can likely guess, this harsh treatment completely destroys the subtle beneficial energies of stones, and renders your Jade Roller useless from a vibrational perspective.
Fake Jade Rollers can still have some benefit as a facial massage tool. If chilled, the fake Jade Roller can still offer benefits to reduce inflammation, support lymphatic drainage and increase circulation.
