Blessings,
On my way home from traveling in Japan, we aligned our flights to take a brief stop off in Oahu Hawaii on the way.
And something wild happened there …
Through synchronicity, I found myself hiking out to a very sacred place known to be the “leaping place of souls”.
In Hawaiian Ancestral Wisdom, it's said that when a person dies, their soul travels to a specific point on the edge of the Islands to begin the journey into the spirit world.
This is where I found myself.
It's called Kaena Point on the westernmost tip of Oahu…
Hiking way out to the lava rock tide pools at the very edge of this point on the Island …
The veil between worlds felt non existent.
A place between …
Where you're not quite in the Ocean, and you’re not quite on Land …
You’re in-between, both in the energy of the Ocean and of the Land, and in a sense in neither, standing on rock thats essentially hardened fire, or dried piles of coral …
This intersection of elements creates a powerful energetic vortex, a place where the boundaries between the physical and spiritual realms blur.
When I was there, there was also a very strong offshore wind, pulling the energy out to sea.
It really felt like if my soul left my body there it would be automatically pulled into the realms of light.
I didn't know before hiking there that many Hawaiians have long held this to be one of their most sacred places…
Because of its significance in the soul’s journey — and as the site where souls make the leap from being incarnated in the physical, back into the realms of Spirit.
As I stood there, I could sense the presence of ancestral guides waiting to welcome newly departed souls.
According to Hawaiian tradition, when a soul reaches this point, it's met by the spirits of deceased ancestors and friends…
Who, if the soul is ready to leave this incarnation … Guide it to embrace the journey into the next phase of existence.
Standing at this threshold between worlds, I felt a profound connection to the ancient wisdom of the Islanders and the countless souls who have made this sacred journey.
The energy at Kaena Point seemed to whisper of the eternal nature of the soul, the reunion with loved ones who have passed on after life, and of the continuity of existence beyond our physical form.
It was a powerful reminder that death is not an end, but a transition – a leap into new realms of being.
As the offshore wind continued to pull towards the vast expanse of the Ocean, I felt a deep sense of peace and remembrance about the eternal nature of the soul.
This sacred place truly embodies the Hawaiian concept of death as simply “traveling west,” a journey that we will all one day undertake.
A beautiful reminder of the eternal dance between life and death, form and formlessness.
And so synchronistic to find myself in this place now …
Right before we'll be diving deep into the teachings of the Journey of the Soul and the Akashic Records.
If you haven't yet signed up to join us in this powerful upcoming course …
Hope to see you there.
With love and blessings,
